Questions

Questions, answered in full

How to order in writing, what the driver collects at the door, free delivery and 30 days to change your mind — and the practical answers as well: induction bases, socket timers, extension lead limits, battery sizes and what actually fits in a 45 litre box.

Forty-three questions, in six groups. Each answer is the full one, with the figures and the limits in it, rather than a line that sounds reassuring. Anything not covered here goes to support@voskis.com, which is read Monday to Saturday, 9 to 6 CET.

Ordering

There is no basket. How does an order start?

Send one message — either the enquiry form or an email to support@voskis.com. List the items, put a quantity beside each, and give the street address the box has to reach. Nothing else is needed, and nothing else exists: this site has no checkout, no account step and no field that would accept a card number.

What you have sent is a request for a price. It commits you to nothing and costs nothing. The point at which you decide is the point at which the box is open in front of you. The whole procedure runs to five steps and they are set out on how to order.

What has to be in that first email?

Four things:

  • The items and how many of each. A plain description will do — no product code is needed.
  • The full street address: street and number, floor or door, postcode, town, country.
  • A name the driver can ask for at the door.
  • A mobile number for the carrier to use on the delivery day.

Anything beyond that is useful rather than required. Say what the item has to do — the hob you cook on, the gap under the bed, the socket the lead has to reach. If what you picked will not do that job, the reply says so before you have spent anything.

When does the reply come, and what is in it?

The next working day. It lists your items, marks which are in stock, and states one figure covering goods and delivery together. That figure does not move afterwards.

Anything out of stock is named in that same reply, together with the restock date where we have one, or a fresh figure with the line struck out. Nothing is swapped for something similar, so you will not find a different model in the box.

Is there a minimum order, or a spend that unlocks free delivery?

Neither exists. Delivery is €0 to every address we ship to, whatever is in the box. Weight, bulk, distance and order value change nothing, because there is no threshold and no surcharge anywhere in the pricing. Ask us to quote for one pack of AAA batteries and the terms are the same as for an order that fills a hall cupboard.

Can I change the list or cancel it after I have sent it?

Up to the moment the box leaves us, yes, and it costs nothing. Reply in the same thread with the change and we re-quote or close the order.

After that, refuse the delivery at the door. The box goes back on the van and the order ends there. No money has moved at any stage of this, so there is nothing to refund and no cancellation charge in the first place.

Do I need an account or a password?

No. The site has no login and stores no profile, so there is nothing to register and nothing to reset. Your name, address and email are held while the order runs, through the 30-day return window, and for as long as Spanish tax law requires the record to exist. The detail is in the privacy policy.

Paying

Is there any way to pay other than cash?

None. This business keeps no card terminal and no payment gateway, so there is nowhere for a card to be presented: not on a web page, not inside an email, and not at the door, where the driver carries no reader. Transfers, PayPal and payment links fall out for the same reason.

Cash at the door is the only method. Treat it as a condition of buying here, and decide about it before you send a list rather than afterwards.

How do I know the figure before the driver arrives?

It is written down before anything is dispatched. The reply to your list carries one figure, VAT inside it and delivery at zero, and that email is the record you keep.

The driver collects that figure and stops. Nothing is added on the step: no adjustment for the address, no charge for handling the cash, no fuel line, no rounding up to the nearest note. If the amount asked for is higher than your email, leave the box on the van and forward the request to support@voskis.com.

Is VAT included in the figure?

Yes. The quoted figure is the amount you hand over, Spanish VAT already inside it, delivery at zero. Businesses that need the VAT broken out as its own line should say so with the list, and the invoice arrives itemised. Invoices are issued by FLOFUM, S.L. under CIF B75621250.

Which currency, and how exact do the notes have to be?

The currency of the delivery country: euro inside the eurozone, and the national currency in the member states outside it. Where a conversion is needed it is done before dispatch and written into your order email, so the number you were given is the number you count out at the door.

Get as close to that number as your notes allow. Drivers carry no float to speak of, and nothing is rounded in either direction.

What record do I get of the cash I hand over?

Two, one from each side. At the door the driver hands over a receipt or a docket for you to sign. Separately, an invoice reaches you by email, issued by FLOFUM, S.L. under CIF B75621250 against your order reference. Either one supports a return or a guarantee claim months later, so file whichever suits you.

Somebody asked me to pay before delivery. Was that you?

No. Nothing is ever collected ahead of the delivery, in any form, by anyone acting for this company. Voskis also holds no telephone number, so a voice on the phone using the name belongs to somebody else entirely. Send the message to support@voskis.com, then delete it.

This is the part that does not flex. The money moves at the door, in cash, after the box is open. There is no earlier point in the process at which a payment can legitimately be requested — not for a larger order, not for a first order, not for a distant address.

Delivery

How far do you ship, and what is added for delivery?

To street addresses in the 27 EU member states, and delivery is €0 to every one of them.

Houses, flats and business premises all work. What matters is that somebody is at the address during the day to open the box and hand over the money. Bulk is not carved out of the free delivery: a folding airer, four stacked storage boxes and a single pack of batteries all travel at no charge. If the address is difficult to reach, put the postcode in your first email and we check it before quoting.

How long does the whole thing take?

Three stages, and only the first two belong to us:

  • Reply — the next working day after your email, carrying stock and one figure.
  • Dispatch — one to two working days after you accept that figure. No cutoff time is promised and no next-day service is offered.
  • Transit — the carrier’s leg, which varies by country. A tracking reference goes out the day the box leaves, so you can watch it move instead of relying on an estimate we would have no control over.

Working days here are Monday to Friday, Spanish public holidays excluded. The inbox runs Monday to Saturday, 9 to 6 CET, so a Saturday question gets an answer even though nothing is picked or packed that day. Timings country by country are on delivery and returns.

Can a locker or a PO box take the delivery?

No. Two things happen at the same moment on your doorstep: you look inside the box, and you pay for it. An automated locker can do neither of those, and a PO box has nobody standing at it. The destination has to be a street address with a person at it.

Can it go to my workplace, or to a neighbour?

Yes, provided whoever takes it in knows what is coming and has the money ready. Give us the name for the label, and pass the figure from your email to the person who will be signing. Payment is made by whoever accepts the box — nothing is handed over against a promise to settle up later.

How do I track it, and what if tracking stops moving?

A reference and a link go out with the dispatch email. The reference is generated when the label prints, so it reports nothing at all until the carrier’s first scan. A blank few hours at the start is normal, and so are the silent stretches between depots.

Two working days without movement is the point to write in. Send the order number to support@voskis.com and we open the trace. You did not choose the carrier, so arguing with it is not your job.

Nobody was in when the driver called. What happens?

A card comes through the door and a second attempt follows, usually the next working day. Most carriers also let you move the date yourself from the tracking link. Nothing has been paid at that stage, so the missed delivery costs you nothing.

Where every attempt fails, the box returns to us and the order closes with no charge for the journey. Tell us a day you will be in and it goes out again, free.

Returns and faults

How long do I have to change my mind?

30 days from the day the box arrives, used or unused. No explanation is needed, and none is requested.

The legal minimum for a distance purchase in the EU is 14 days. Voskis more than doubles it by choice, and your statutory right carries on running inside the longer window. Send an email inside those 30 days and back comes the return address plus the reference to write on the box.

Can I send back something I have opened and used?

Yes. A trigger spray a third empty, a pan that has been cooked in, a mop that has been over a floor: the same 30 days covers all of them. A pan you cannot judge without cooking in it is a pan you are meant to cook in.

What we ask is that everything goes back in the box — lid, trigger head, fixings, manual — packed to survive the trip. The one thing outside the change-of-mind route is an item damaged or altered after it arrived. That is a guarantee question, and it is handled as one.

Who pays for the return journey?

Three situations put it on us: the item is faulty, it arrived damaged, or it is not what the reply agreed. In those we book the collection and you pay nothing at either end.

A change of mind puts the return journey on you, which is where EU distance-selling rules leave it. You are told which of those situations applies before the box is packed, so no bill appears afterwards.

The driver took cash. How does a refund get back to me?

By transfer to a bank account in your own name. No card was charged, so there is no transaction to reverse, and that is why we have to ask you for an IBAN once the return is agreed. It is asked for in writing, in the thread the return started in, and nowhere else.

The transfer is made once the goods have arrived and been checked. Delivery cost you €0, so nothing has to be put back for carriage: the refund is the price of the goods.

Do I have to keep the packaging?

Useful, not compulsory. The item has to come back complete, and packed well enough to arrive in one piece — a glass lid or a set of tumblers in a padded envelope will not manage that.

For a fault or for transit damage, hold on to the outer carton until the claim is closed. Carriers sometimes ask to inspect it.

What does the two-year guarantee cover?

Two years minimum from delivery, as the guarantee of conformity in Spanish and EU law requires. Inside that period a fault that shows up is taken to have been present when the box arrived.

Covered: a pan base separating from the body, a kettle element that fails, a timer dial that skips its segments, an LED lamp that dies at 200 hours instead of 15,000, a lid clip that snaps off in normal use, an airer joint that will not lock.

Not covered: ordinary wear, misuse, and consumables. A non-stick coating taken to with a metal pad, a plastic box left in direct sun until it went brittle, and batteries, bulbs, refills, mop heads and cloths that have simply reached the end of their working life. Attach photographs to a claim — it settles far quicker with them. The route is on the warranty page.

Something stopped working after the 30 days.

Email the order number, what happened, and a photograph. Something that gives out in normal use is a conformity question, not a return, and inside the two years the answer is a repair, a replacement or the money back.

Where the cause turns out to be wear rather than a defect — a mop head flattened by a year of floors, a cloth that no longer absorbs — you will be told so in plain terms and pointed at the refill instead of a claim.

We cannot agree. Where do I take it?

There are routes that do not depend on us agreeing with you. In Spain, a consumer can go to a municipal or regional consumer office (Oficina Municipal de Información al Consumidor), or to the Sistema Arbitral de Consumo. From another member state, your national European Consumer Centre handles cross-border complaints. Note that the EU’s online dispute resolution platform shut down in July 2025, so the old ODR form no longer exists. Our own terms are on terms & conditions.

Choosing for your home

Will your pans work on my induction hob?

If a fridge magnet grips the base firmly, the pan works on induction. Our stainless pans are built on a 4.5 mm sandwich base — an aluminium core between two stainless layers, the outer one magnetic — so they work on induction, gas, ceramic and solid electric plates alike.

Two things to check on any induction hob. The base has to be flat, because a warped base loses contact and heats unevenly. And most hobs will not detect a base under about 12 cm across, which is why a small milk pan sometimes fails to light the ring at all. Bare aluminium, copper and glass pans do not work on induction whatever the hob is set to.

Can pans, boards and knives go in the dishwasher?

  • Stainless pans and glass lids: yes, though repeated cycles dull the finish, and dishwasher salt pits stainless that is left sitting wet in the machine for a day.
  • Non-stick: hand wash. Dishwasher detergent is abrasive and strongly alkaline, and it shortens a coating’s life faster than anything you do on the hob.
  • Wooden boards and wooden handles: no. The wood takes up water, swells, and splits along the glue lines.
  • Knives: no. The edge knocks against the rack and the detergent attacks the handle scales.

Every listing states which of these applies. Where a listing is not clear, ask in your email and we confirm it before you order.

What does a 45 L storage box actually hold?

45 litres is the water volume of the box, which is no help when you are planning a cupboard. The box measures 560 × 390 × 210 mm outside, with 195 mm of internal height. In practice it takes:

  • One double duvet cover, a fitted sheet and two pillowcases, folded flat, with room over them.
  • Twelve to fourteen folded adult jumpers.
  • Eight to ten pairs of adult shoes, in two layers.
  • A4 papers and documents flat, with space around them. A lever-arch file will not stand up in it — those are around 320 mm tall.

Measure the gap first if it is going under a bed. Most frames leave 220 to 300 mm of clearance, so a 210 mm box slides under most of them but not all. Load it by weight rather than by space: about 15 kg is as much as anyone wants to lift down from a shelf.

Do the storage boxes stack, and how high?

They stack four high, and the lid carries 15 kg. The lid is recessed, so the box above locates into it rather than sliding about.

Three conditions. Close all four clips before you stack anything on top, because an unclipped lid lifts under load. Stack same-size boxes only — a smaller footprint on top puts the whole weight on the middle of the lid panel. And put the heaviest box at the bottom. Four high on a floor is fine. Four high on a shelf above head height is not.

Does the socket timer need wi-fi, an app or an account?

None of the three. The 24-hour timer is mechanical: a dial of 96 segments, each one 15 minutes, that you push down for the periods you want power. Set it by turning the dial clockwise until the current time meets the arrow. It then keeps time from the mains supply. There is nothing to pair, no account to create and no app to keep updated.

The trade-off is that a mechanical timer holds no battery, so a power cut shifts the whole schedule by the length of the cut. Reset the dial after one. It is rated 3680 W at 16 A, and the socket is shuttered and earthed.

How much can I run from one extension lead?

Mains supply across the EU is 230 V, so a 16 A extension lead tops out at 3680 W in total across all of its sockets. Lighter leads are wired at 10 A, which is 2300 W. The rating is printed on the body or on the plug. Read it before you load the lead, because nothing on the lead itself will stop you overloading it.

Add up what you intend to plug in:

ApplianceTypical draw
Kettle2200–3000 W
Fan heater2000 W
Iron2000–2400 W
Washing machine, while heating2000–2200 W
Toaster800–1500 W
Microwave (800 W output)1200–1400 W
Desktop computer and monitor150–400 W
Fridge, while the compressor runs100–200 W
Television50–150 W
Laptop charger45–100 W
LED lamp5–12 W
Phone charger5–30 W

Three rules keep a lead inside its rating. One heat-producing appliance per lead: a kettle and a fan heater together are already over 4000 W. Never plug one extension lead into another, because the ratings do not add up and every connection adds resistance. And unwind a cable reel completely before running anything above about 1000 W, since a coiled cable cannot shed its heat and a wound reel is often rated at a third of its unwound figure.

The fourth rule is the one to remember: a lead that is warm to the touch is carrying more than it should. Unplug something.

Which cloth suits which surface?

SurfaceUseKeep away from it
Mirrors, windows, glassFlat-weave microfibre, damp, then buffed with a dry one. No detergent needed.Cotton and paper towel, which leave lint behind
Stainless steelDamp microfibre, wiped along the grainScourers of any kind — the scratch lines are permanent
Worktops and spillsWaffle or terry microfibre, which holds around seven times its own weight in waterCloths kept for the bathroom
Non-stick pansSoft sponge, cloth or nylon brushMetal pads, heavy-duty green scourers, dishwasher powder
Glazed ceramic and enamel sinksNon-scratch white or blue scourer padHeavy-duty pads on acrylic baths and shower trays
Induction and ceramic hob glassA flat scraper for burnt-on sugar, then microfibreAbrasive cream and heavy-duty pads
Polished or oiled woodDry or barely damp cottonSoaking cloths and any spray containing solvent
ScreensDry flat-weave microfibre onlyAlcohol-based sprays, which strip coated screens

Wash microfibre at 60 °C with detergent and never with fabric conditioner. Conditioner coats the fibres, and a coated microfibre cloth stops picking water up — it pushes it around instead. Keep separate cloths for the kitchen and the bathroom, which is the whole point of a colour-coded pack.

Which batteries do you stock, and which one does my device take?

SizeAlso printed asWhere it usually goes
AA, 1.5 VLR6, MignonRemotes, mice, wall clocks, torches, toys
AAA, 1.5 VLR03, MicroSlim remotes, thermostats, kitchen scales
C, 1.5 VLR14, BabyOlder torches, portable radios
D, 1.5 VLR20, MonoLarge torches, some radios and clocks
9 V6LR61, PP3Smoke alarms, multimeters
CR2032, 3 VCoin cell, 20 mm acrossBathroom scales, car keys, computer boards
CR2025 and CR2016, 3 VThinner coin cells, same 20 mm widthKey fobs, small scales, thermometers

Rechargeable NiMH cells read 1.2 V rather than 1.5 V. Most devices run on them without complaint, but a few with a voltage cut-off do not, and a smoke alarm should be given a fresh alkaline or lithium cell rather than a rechargeable one.

Three habits stop batteries leaking inside a device: do not mix brands, or old and new cells, in one compartment; take the cells out of anything you are putting away for a season; and take flat cells out straight away instead of leaving them in. Batteries are consumables and sit outside the two-year guarantee. Spent cells go to a collection point rather than the bin, and most supermarkets keep one by the door.

Which bulb fitting do I need, and how bright?

Read the fitting off the old bulb or the socket before you order.

FittingWhat it looks likeUsually found in
E27Screw thread, 27 mm acrossCeiling pendants, standard lamps
E14Screw thread, 14 mm acrossChandeliers, bedside lamps, cooker hoods
GU10Two stubby pins, push and twist, mains voltageRecessed ceiling spotlights
GU5.3 (MR16)Two thin pins 5.3 mm apart, 12 V through a transformerOlder spotlights and under-cupboard fittings
B22Bayonet cap, two side pins, push and twistFittings in Ireland, Malta and Cyprus
G9Two small wire loops, mains voltageSmall decorative and bathroom fittings

Brightness is measured in lumens now, not watts. The old wattages are still the quickest way to picture it:

Old incandescentLEDLight output
40 W4–5 Wabout 470 lm
60 W7–8 Wabout 800 lm
75 W9–11 Wabout 1050 lm
100 W13–15 Wabout 1500 lm

Colour temperature decides how the room reads. 2700 K is warm white and suits living rooms and bedrooms; 3000 K suits kitchens and bathrooms; 4000 K is neutral white for a worktop or a utility area; 6500 K is daylight, and it is rarely wanted in a home. If the lamp is going on a dimmer it has to say dimmable on the box — a non-dimmable LED on a dimmer circuit flickers, buzzes and fails early.

Will a plug from you fit the sockets in my country?

Every EU country runs at 230 V and 50 Hz, so nothing needs a voltage converter. Only the socket shape varies.

Plug or socketWhere it is used
Type C — two round pins, unearthedFits almost every socket in continental Europe. The standard for small appliances up to 2.5 A.
Type F — Schuko, earth clips on the sidesSpain, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal, the Nordic countries and most of central Europe
Type E — earth pin projecting from the socketFrance, Belgium, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia
Type L — three round pins in a lineItaly. Many Italian sockets take Schuko as well, but not all of them.
Type G — three rectangular pinsIreland, Malta, Cyprus

Earthed items ship with a CEE 7/7 plug, which seats in both Type E and Type F sockets. Tell us the delivery country when you send your list: we confirm what each item ships with, and whether an adaptor is needed, before anything leaves us. One warning worth repeating — never run a kettle, an iron or a heater through a small travel adaptor rated at 2.5 A.

Do you sell replacement parts and refills?

Yes, for everything the manufacturer still makes them for. Mop heads and refill pads, spray triggers and empty bottles, squeegee rubbers, brush heads, spare clips and lid gaskets for the storage boxes, glass lids and handle screws for the pans, and the cleaning concentrates that go with a refillable bottle. A €4 mop head is a better answer than a €19 mop.

If you cannot find the part, email support@voskis.com with the item. The answer is a plain yes or no on whether that spare exists, not a quote for the whole thing again. A part that gives up within the first 30 days is treated as a return, and the postage back is ours.

Can I ask which of two things to buy?

Yes, and the answer comes back with measurements in it. Tell us the room, the surface, the hob, the socket or the gap you are filling, in centimetres or watts wherever a figure exists. We say when the cheaper item is the right one, and we say when nothing we stock does the job. Neither answer costs you anything.

About Voskis

Who is behind Voskis?

Voskis is one of the names FLOFUM, S.L. trades under. The company is registered in Spain:

Post reaches us there, and legal correspondence should be addressed there. Registration details in full are set out on the legal notice.

Can I call you instead of writing?

No. There is no telephone number at this company, listed or unlisted. Everything runs through support@voskis.com, read Monday to Saturday, 9 to 6 CET. No line, no hotline, no callback request — which also means that a call placed in the name of Voskis did not come from Voskis.

There is a practical advantage to it. One thread ends up holding the list, the address, the figure you were quoted, the tracking reference and any photographs, and either side can scroll back through it when something comes up two months later.

Can I collect from the Barcelona address?

No. Those are registered premises with no counter and no stock held for collection. Every order goes out through a carrier to the address in your email.

What exactly do you stock?

Four groups, all of them for the inside of a house: cleaning and laundry; kitchen and dining; storage and organisation; and small home tech — plugs, timers, adaptors, bulbs, batteries and cables. If it does not belong inside a house, it is not on the list.

What happens to my personal data?

It is held to take the order, get it dispatched and support it afterwards, and to satisfy the record-keeping that Spanish tax and consumer law impose. The GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the Spanish LOPDGDD govern that, and they give you rights over it: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Write to support@voskis.com to use any of them.

The privacy policy sets out the categories held, the retention periods and the processors acting for us. The cookie policy covers what the site puts in your browser.

Anything not answered here

Put it in an email to support@voskis.com. Include the order number if one exists, and the tracking reference where the box is already on the road. A person reads that inbox and answers on the facts, normally the next working day. There is no ticket queue and nobody working from a script.

To start an order instead, send three things: the items with quantities, the street address the box has to reach, and a mobile number for the carrier to use on the day. The reply comes back the next working day with what is in stock and one figure covering goods and delivery. The procedure is set out on how to order, the timings on delivery and returns, and you can write from the contact page.
